Training My Mind

On this first day of the week, plans to go out for breakfast at a buffet spark a bit of apprehension in my mind. At the onset of this "lifestyle change" I reminded myself that God desires moderation, not a leaglistic or gluttonous mindset.

For me, leagalistic would mean that I cannot EVER go beyond the calorie limits I set, and gluttonous would be to disregard them more than I observe them. I seek the balanced life.

Does going to a buffet and not counting calories give me license to stuff my face? No, that would be sin.

Rom 6:22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
