Week 3 - Day 4 - Bearing Each Other's Burdens

Yesterday, I spoke of encouraging one another. Today, let's look at burdens. Life dishes out seasons of trials and troubles no matter who you are or how old you might be. In our culture today, many think they need to guard these difficulties and hold them close to their heart while attempting to keep the "everything's okay" facade from cracking.

When going through a difficulty, I tend to withdraw. think back. God created man and said it was not good for him to be alone. We are not created to be isolated. If you're going through a trial in your life, be sure to share it with a friend. It doesn't make the difficult time go away, but it helps to carry the load when you're willing to share it.

Ha!

I love it. Fat feet. Thanks for the smile, I needed that.

I will be traveling to see my husband's brother and his wife tomorrow. They are in Florida visiting their son who lives 5 hours away. We've agreed to meet halfway to guess what--EAT!

We'll be meeting at the Boardwalk near Disney and I hope to get in a good bit of walking. That's my plan, but my 88 year old mother in law will be with us so that may not work.

Thanks for sharing. It helps to motivate me. Last time I weighed, I'd only lost one pound.

Hi Mom,

I'm struggling with my portions too. Doing fine with walking at least three days a week, but my intake of calories seems to exceed burning them.

Great to have you along for the challenge. Just think, next time we get together, we'll take another picture and our efforts will show.

You're doing great, and your post is such a blessing.

Speaking of the next adventure, I think I'll address that in tomorrows post.

Somehow, I feel I should be perfect when I set these goals. Perhaps God is using them to remind me that I'm not perfect and need Him all the more.

A prayer goal is a wonderful idea.

Thanks for sharing. It's a blessing to have you on board.
