Writing and dieting have a lot in common. Both are disciplines. If you don't stay committed you will not succeed.

Another Month Bites the Dust
"Thirty days has September, April, June and November...." Hard to believe another month has followed the timeline to the past. Some people wait for January 1 to declare a new start. God gives us 12 months. Twelve firsts to remind us of his patience. Tomorrow is May 1, the perfect opportunity to get back on track.
Think about it, pray about it, and seek what changes need to be made.
You are quite right, Birdie - May 1 is a great day for new starts. Matter of fact, I was thinking only the other day about how much I love Spring; how all the new life around me is helping to restore my spirit. The lambs are so wonderfully innocent and playful, the trees full of buds, the calves so beatiful in their soft coats. Even the wind feels fresher. It is the beginning of a new year for the planet and I plan to suck up as much of its joy that I can. As for being bored and fed up with counting calories, I can relate. It's not easy sticking with it. I should get a grip of myself and do something about my eatting habits but, at present, am in a completely selfish eatting mode, stuffing whatever in my mouth for the temporary comfort. This, too, will pass. But you stick with it - keep your eye on your goal. You'll get there, kiddo! Have a great day! Bugsy

Wow, thanks, that's just what I needed.
Remember, the comfort may be temporary, but the result is usually not, at least not temporary enough.
