As you read yesterday, I stopped counting calories on Sunday and it spread through Tuesday. My norm is to let this behavior spiral out of control until I've gained my weight back (and more) and then start all over again. Not this time. It's a new day. Just because I failed yesterday doesn't mean I'm doomed to cave in to my cravings today. It's just about lunch time as I write this and I'm counting and have a plan for lunch and a snack this afternoon. For me, that late afternoon snack gives me something to look forward to. Today's special is a banana/peach smoothie with a touch of cinnamon.
The fact that I'm here blogging to you is a help. If you're struggling with your diet find someone to talk to about your goals.
