And I'm Off--

...with a limp. I finally bought a battery for the scale, and the weekend pulled me off course to help friends moving from Florida to TN. We didn't stop for lunch and my cereal began to run a bit thin. By the time we sat down to dinner at the buffet, I ate too much food.

Hard work, too much food, the two hour drive home and I was ready for bed. It wasn't even 10:00, but I didn't care. I didn't drift off to sleep. I dropped off. But I awoke in the middle of the night with some abdominal distress, fell back to sleep, woke up and recognized a cycle. I was tired enough to work with it. What else could I do?

The following morning I awoke and started the day with a shot of Noni juice and some water. As I sat at the keyboard to puruse emials my stomach twisted, tightened and almost burned. Kind of reminded me of a contraction. It didn't take long, but took my breath away.

Is the price of overeating worth it. No. So why do I do it? Guess I didn't plan ahead enough...
