I've talked with plenty of people who want to make some life-style changes for healtier living. Starting March 1, I'll be taking part in a 21-Day Challenge to help develop new, healthier habits. The object is to set goals for the 21 days and be accountable. If you'd like to join in, we'd love to have you. You can post goals here under comments as we work to encourage, prod and learn from each other.
I'll post more information tomorrow.

Howdy from a fellow 21 day adventurer!
I'm ready to start establishing new goals and thus habits - how about you? I'm new to this blog thing so hopefully this will come out all right. Anyway --
I am Donna's sister, Michelle. Yes I was on the kayaking trip and let me tell you pictures are worth 1000 words. How often do we really look at ourselves? I avoid it! SO when Donna took a picture with my backside in it -- UGH!!! and who is that fat, old lady in the kayak! I'm ready to take care of the body God has given me. My body is a wonderfully formed gift and I've really treated God's gift badly.
Yep, I'm a veteran at these 21 day adventures. The purpose in the long run is to help you establish a new habit -- SO aren't you ready.
Let's look at how this little adventure works -- we try to set challenging but attainable goals. Push yourself some and you will realize the reward of achieving something a wee bit difficult.
Our verse for this adventure is Proverbs 4:23. Read it, post comments, and be sure to think about it. More comments to come when I'm not going on and on in a note.
My goals are:
1. Exercise 3 days a week
2. Drink fresh juice 3 days a week
3. Eat 2 salads a week
4. Work on my Bible Study in a timely fashion instead of rushing a day or two before. It wrecks my ability to meditate and savor the lesson
5. Pray for the women in my church. (Yes I know men and children need prayer but I'm concentrating on my sisters this adventure) Did you ever notice when you are praying for someone, it's a lot harder to "gossip" about them!
I've invited some friends to join in. I hope to be hearing from them soon.
Feel free to NAG me about my goals
Michelle
