Motivation

I'm hearing from sources that people plan to join in the 21 day challenge. It's exciting and motivating. What finally kicked me in the rear and got my attention? My son moved his wedding date up from April 1 to Feb. 25. I had no time to do anything about my weight.
The second factor--I'm writing an article on kayaking and decided to experience the sport first hand while my mother and two of my sisters visited for the wedding. I rode in the back of a double kayak with mom, while my two sisters rode in another. My sister Michelle captured some great shots to use for my article but one really captured my attention. Who's that blimp in the back of the kayak?
My doctor tells me I need to lose, but it's easy to justify weight gain. In my mind I didn't look that different. But, the camera doesn't lie. I'm sharing this picture as part of being honest with myself.
Tomorrow is day one. Plan to share your goals for the first 21 Day Challenge. If you have questions, feel free to comment.

For this challenge, my main focus is to exercise and cut out junky snacks. I'm excited to be here, and look forward to getting to know the others taking part in the challenge.
